The What: Villa Azur Celebrates Women’s Day with “Endless” Champagne

Being a woman is a great, wondrous thing and we should celebrate like the Queens that we are. Luckily, Villa Azur, located in Miami Beach, agrees too.
On March 8, the folks at Villa Azur will be celebrating International Woman’s Day with FREE CHAMPAGNE. You guys… FREE CHAMPAGNE.
Dine in guests, from 8 to 10 PM, will receive and unlimited flow of FREE CHAMPAGNE (yes, I will put it in caps every time) as well as a sample of the Mimosa Cake dessert — a tender, orange sponge smothered with silky CHAMPAGNE buttercream.
But, wait. It don’t end there, giirrl. Ladies dining will also have an opportunity to WIN a $200 gift card.

The What: Seaspice introduces the Persea Martini

Love tequila? Love avocados? Then the Persea Martini, from Seapice, is the perfect merging of two worlds.
Displaying a keen sense of balance by expert mixologist Atilla Kocsis using Baron tequila, fresh avocado, pineapple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and garnished with fresh black pepper — the result is a melodious combination of ingredients, for a drink you won’t want to put down.
The What: Villa Azur teams up with 2017 James Beard Award Guest Chefs for an authentic, Mykonos-style, All-Day Brunch & Dinner Party
The When: Sunday, March 12
The Beach is getting a little taste of Greece on March 12 when Villa Azur, a Mediterranean style resto, opens its doors for an exclusive brunch and dinner experience by Mykonos’ 2017 James Beard Award featured chefs Chris Athanasiadis (owner and chef at “Nice N Easy Restaurant) and Panagiotis Diamantis (Executive Chef at Rodors Palace Hotel).
Although the restaurant is typically only open for dinner (which makes this event all the more special), the brunch experience will feature a preset menu including a set of 6 special new dishes by the guest chefs and selections by Villa Azur’s Executive Chef Erwin Mallet. Those visiting for dinner will enjoy Villa Azur’s full new dinner menu, as well as a “specials” menu containing the 6 new dishes conceptualized.
Attendees will stay refreshed with cocktails including Skinos Mastiha Spirit as three rotating DJs provide summer in the Mediterranean vibes in collaboration with globally renowned venues Mykonos’ Cavo Paradiso, Super Paradise Beach Club and Tropicana Beach Club.
The What: Cochon555 releases it’s 2017 Miami Chefs Lineup & Cochon555 tickets

Cochon555, the hyper-local festival with a flair for innovation, returns to Miami with its Heritage BBQ edition on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach.
The promotion of global food cultures and family farming will be the central themes of the day. From winemakers and distillers to barkeeps and chefs, dozens of the city’s biggest hospitality talents will be cooking – or creating drinks to match – Old World barbecue recipes cooked over live fires.
To further champion the good food movement, a portion of all proceeds will go to Cochon555’s sister charity, Piggy Bank – a pig farming sanctuary.
